CAS Week 17: Activity (Learning Outcome 7)
(A) Going to the DMV to get my Learner's Permit: Part 2
This is a continuation of my mom and I's adventures to the DMV to get my Learner's Permit! After school last Tuesday, we drove to the DMV and went through the process to get my Learner's Permit.
It definitely didn't take as long as I expected, however we went through a little bit of trouble since we had to find another form to confirm something so that I would be able to get my Learner's Permit. After that, everything was pretty smooth. We were able to get through all of the different forms that we had to provide with no trouble, and the form that gave us issues last time wasn't even needed for this visit to the DMV. This definitely settled our worries, since there were a lot of forms that had to be organized and filled out prior to us going to our appointment at the DMV. I can only give the credit to my parents, who helped me make sure everything was right, and in order, even when we had a scare that we forgot one of the forms. This was definitely a learning experience for me, and it helped me learn more on how to be organized in life. This experience also brought me one step closer to getting my drivers license! By accepting the consequences of my choice to learn how to drive during my senior year, I had not a good experience at the DMV. This prolonged my wait to get my learner's permit, but I was able to reflect and see the consequences of my choices.
